VERTES is a monthly subscription that you can cancel at any time. You are charged once a month until you cancel, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Delivery is instant. The moment your payment goes through you get the download and your licence key by email. Nothing is fulfilled by hand and there is nothing to wait for.
7 day money back guarantee. If VERTES is not for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment and you get a full refund. No form to fill in, no reason required.
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the Merchant of Record for this sale. That means Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax or VAT. Your card statement will show a Lemon Squeezy descriptor. The software and the support behind it are provided by Alexandru-Nicolae Stoica.
VERTES is sold as a recurring monthly subscription in GBP. There is a free 7-day trial which requires no card and ends by itself — it does not roll into a paid subscription. The trial covers finding clips, cutting, reframing and captions; the remaining features are part of a paid subscription. Founder pricing is limited to 300 seats in total:

Founder members keep their rate for their first year (10 paid months plus 2 free), then move to the £20 per month standard rate. We will tell you before that change happens. The price you signed up at will never rise during your founder year.
Every plan is the complete application. There are no minute caps, no per video charges and no metered usage, because VERTES runs on your own computer.

All updates released while your subscription is active are included at no extra cost. If your email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then email contact@vertes.co.uk and we will resend it.
VERTES does its work on your machine, so your machine has to be able to do it. You need Windows 10 or 11, a gaming GPU (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel, for example a GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 or better), around 20 GB of free disk space, and an internet connection for the initial setup. If your computer does not meet these, VERTES will run slowly or not at all, and the 7 day guarantee below is there for exactly that situation.
7 day money back guarantee. Email contact@vertes.co.uk within 7 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
After those first 7 days, subscription payments are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time so that you are not charged again. If something goes wrong on our side, for example a serious bug that stops you using the app and that we cannot fix, contact us and we will make it right. We would rather refund an unhappy customer than keep the money.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you also have a statutory 14 day right to cancel a distance purchase. Because VERTES is digital content delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that delivery starts at once, which normally ends that right. Our 7 day guarantee is offered on top of your statutory rights and does not replace them.
You can cancel from the customer portal link in your purchase email, or by emailing contact@vertes.co.uk. Cancelling stops all future payments. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your subscription is not renewed after that. Nothing you created with VERTES is affected, because your clips are files on your own computer.
If a monthly payment fails, Lemon Squeezy will retry it and email you. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and the app returns to its unlicensed state. You can resubscribe at any time, though founder pricing depends on seats still being available.
One subscription is for one person. Your licence key is yours, and sharing or reselling it is not allowed and may end your subscription without a refund. The full terms of use are in the EULA.
If these terms change we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at vertes.co.uk/terms.html. Changes that affect what you pay will always be announced to existing subscribers by email before they take effect.
